The YouTube jobs Strategy, Analytics and Finance (SAF) team’s mission is to make YouTube more valuable by identifying and steering the business towards the biggest opportunities, guiding the organization to make the best possible decisions, and enabling effective implementation with trusted risk management.
As a member of the SAF team, you will work closely with YouTube leadership across the product, engineering, and business organizations to address issues and opportunities across the company, help chart the long-term direction for YouTube, and provide analytics and decision support for the planning and steering of the business.
In this role, you will drive our team’s initiatives forward, developing the robust answers for YouTube’s strategic priorities. You will manage projects commissioned by the leadership at YouTube, apply critical thinking, analyze data and synthesize recommendations on business decisions, and catalyze launches with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities for YouTube jobs
- Work on the priorities of YouTube’s leadership and determine how best to solve the company’s opportunities and most challenging problems.
- Structure, launch and drive strategy workstreams including developing hypotheses, designing work.
- Prepare presentations and communicate findings to YouTube’s leadership and the broader organization.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align on recommendations, financial and headcount investments.
- Be a culture-carrier for the team.
